Shaalder towed in by Kirkwall Lifeboat
Kirkwall lifeboat was called out last night, Wednesday, to go to the aid of a pleasure boat with engine problems near Gairsay.
The Shaalder, with three people onboard, contacted Shetland Coastguard around 6pm, who then alerted Kirkwall RNLI of the situation. Kirkwall Coastguard Rescue Team were also called out.
The lifeboat was launched and towed the vessel from just west of the Boray Holm back to Kirkwall.
