It’s show day in Shapinsay

The Shapinsay Agricultural and industrial shows takes place today, with all the best of the island’s livestock and produce on show.

The show returns this year, after having been cancelled in 2015 due to the heavy and consistent rain seen through the spring and summer months making the island’s showpark too wet to host the animals and machinery.

The showpark is located next to the school in Balfour village. The show opens at 10am with judging to commence at 11am.
