Sick crewman landed at Hatston Pier

The North Sea dive support vessel Skandi Achiever called into Hatston Pier this lunchtime to put an ill crewman ashore for medical treatment.
The vessel called up Shetland Coastguard earlier in the day informing them that they intended to head for Kirkwall.
The 106m long ship was met at the pier by an ambulance crew, along with Kirkwall Coastguard Rescue Team, who were on hand if assistance was required.
The crewman was taken to the Balfour Hospital, and the ship then left.
