Skara Brae named one of eight British ‘must-see’ attractions

Skara Brae has been voted, by visitors, as one of the “must-see” attractions in the British Isles.

The Neolithic site, was one of only eight attractions in the UK to receive a merit award, as voted by customers of tour operator, CIE Tours.

Skara Brae’s manager, Mary Dunnett, travelled to Dublin for the annual CIE Tours International Awards of Excellence , where she was presented with the certificate by the Irish minister for transport, tourism and sport, Leo Varadkar.
