Skull Splitter adds a silver to its collection

The Orkney Brewery has scooped an award at the Champion Winter Beer of Britain event in Derby.

The Quoyloo brewery’s 8.5 per cent Skull Splitter ale took silver in the Barley Wine and Strong Old Ales category.

Organised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the competition is the highlight of the National Winter Beers Festival, which runs between February 17 and 20.
