Sports event fundraiser set for Pickaquoy

Orkney Climbing Club is holding a fundraising event at the Pickaquoy Centre on Sunday to raise money to support Emily Findlay and her family during her cancer treatment.

Anyone interested is invited to come along and try a variety of sports and activities in exchange for a donation, the event being called “Climb High for Emily.”

Sports and activities on offer include climbing, trampolining, fencing, bouncy castles, kickboxing, and squash.

There will be a fun swimming pool session with new inflatables and a gym programme for the day, along with other sports.

The activities will be suitable for families with children of any age or adults wishing to try something new, and run between 10am-3pm.
