Stenness mare is reserve female Shetland pony champion

A mare, shown by Jim Slater, Millquoy, Stenness, has taken the reserve female title in the Shetland Pony section at the Royal Highland show. Millquoy Danielle also won the four-year-old or over mare class.

Millquoy Destiny was also named best yearling colt or filly as Millquoy took two firsts, a fourth and fifth prize rosettes in strong classes.

There were around 70 ponies overall in the section.
