Stromness sewer network update
Scottish Water will be holding an information event to update Stromness residents on the plans to upgrade the waste water network in the area.
The £10 million project will reduce the risk of pollution to the surrounding recreational waters in Stromness Harbour, according to the company.
Following on from the information event held in May, Scottish Water are now able to confirm timescales of the upcoming project and would like meet with the local community to pass on this information as well as answer any further questions.
The information event will be held in Stromness Town Hall on Tuesday, October 27, between 1pm and 6.30pm.
Alternatively, Scottish Water will also be holding an in information event in the Community Centre Nursery Hall on Wednesday, October 28, where residents can drop in anytime between 5pm and 7pm.
