Stromness Shopping Week draws to a close

This evening sees this year’s Stromness Shopping Week Draw to a close.

Throughout the day there will be a mixed bag of activities including a speed pool competition, the Holms race, a five-a-side football competition, the Ferry Inn 10k and a children’s fancy dress three-legged juice race.

At 7pm the float parade will make its way through the street escorted by the Stromness British Legion Pipe Band.

The grand fireworks display will take place at 10.45pm and Midas Touch will be performing throughout the evening.
