Sun set to shine as Orkney RFC prepare for Livingston

Orkney RFC are set to get back into BT National League Division 3 action this weekend with a home match against Livingston scheduled to kick off on Saturday afternoon.

Last weekend’s match against Irvine was postponed due to disruption to the island’s ferry services but with a dry and sunny day forecast, it appears the weather will look kindly on the players and spectators.

Orkney are two points behind Perthshire in sixth but, with Perthshire not in action this weekend, Orkney have the opportunity to move into fifth with a positive result.

The match is due to kick off at 12.30pm at Pickaquoy.
