Terror in the Arctic book signing

A book-signing event takes place in The Orcadian Bookshop this afternoon, from noon until 1pm, when author Bjarnhild Tulloch will sign copies of Terror in the Arctic.

The novel is set in Finnmark in the extreme north of Norway, during the author’s childhood in the Second World War. It is said to be an eye-opener for anyone who knows a little about occupied Norway — “and for those who thought they knew it all.”

Then on Tuesday evening, Mrs Tulloch will visit the Orkney Norway Friendship Association at an open event in the St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall, from 7.30pm.
