Torpedo found in Scapa Flow
A torpedo has been found in Water Sound, Scapa Flow, according to Orkney Islands Council’s Marine Services.
A notice to mariners, published on the Harbour Authority’s website, says that the torpedo was found at 58° 50.237 N 003° 01.091 W (approximately three cables north of Croo Taing).
The notice says mariners are requested to give the position at least 100m clearance when passing.
