Trio of liners call in to Kirkwall

Kirkwall is playing host to three cruise liners today – Fram, Discovery and Le Boreal – with a total passenger capacity of 1,300.

The Fram arrived at Kirkwall pier this morning and is due to sail for Leith at 3pm, while Le Boreal arrived from Leith and is expected to depart for Portree at lunchtime. Le Boreal is due back in Kirkwall on Saturday for a short visit.

Arriving from Liverpool, the Discovery is due to sail for Stavanger at 4pm.
