Two youths charged in connection with animal cruelty incident
Two youths have been charged in connection with an alleged incident of animal cruelty.
In a statement issued on social media this Monday, Police Scotland said it had been made aware of a video circulating online which “appeared to show a cat being thrown into water in the Stromness area of Orkney”.
The statement continued: “Two male youths, aged 15 and 16, have been charged in connection with the incident and a report surrounding the circumstances will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“We would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
