Unforgiving Orkney RFC demolish Greenock Wanderers
Thirteen tries, ten conversions, and a penalty handed Orkney RFC a huge home bonus-point victory as they demolished Greenock Wanderers 88-7 this afternoon.
The home side were relentless throughout the 80 minutes, scoring tries with astounding regularity as they racked up Orkney’s biggest victory since beating Ellon 89-0 in January 2015.
Orkney’s try scorers were: Craig Slater (one), Philip Ross (one), Scott Rendall (one), Al Watson (one), Darren McLean (two), Chris Guthrie (two), Dean Campbell (two), and William Thomson (three).
Twenty-three of Orkney’s points came from the boot of Graham Poke.
