Verification process for Orkney papers complete

The ballot papers from Orkney have now been verified and the count staff have a break until the arrival of the ballot boxes from Shetland, which come down on a chartered flight.

The papers from Shetland, expected to arrive around 2am, will go through the same process before the actual count begins.
