Walking in the steps of St Magnus

The Dean of Aberdeen and Orkney, in the Scottish Episcopal Church, was due to arrive in Orkney last night, Friday, as part of a fundraising walk from Shetland to Aberdeen.

Dean Emsley Nimmo, and members of his congregation, set out from Unst, in Shetland, on Monday and will be walking from Kirkwall to Stromness today, Saturday.

The trek – “walking in the steps of St Magnus” – is to raise funds to restore the St Nicholas Chapel windows in the  Church of St Margaret’s Church, Gallowgate, Aberdeen.
