Webb Ellis Cup to visit Orkney

Rugby’s greatest prize, the Webb Ellis Cup, is due to visit Orkney Rugby Club as part of the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour. The trophy will visit clubs throughout the UK and Ireland and aims to engage fans and give them the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the cup.

The trophy is due to be in Orkney on June, 13 at Pickaquoy centre pitch between 3pm and 4pm, while the club are to hold a minis tournament between 2.30pm to 4pm.

The tour will visit over 100 different clubs, organisations and festivals from grassroots level to elite. Former Scotland star, Chris Paterson will also be in attendance along with the travelling party.
