What do kids do in Orkney?

Orkney is certainly full of interesting things to see and do. But how do we fare with keeping the children amused?

There are obvious things, like the fantastic historical sites dotted about the islands, the wealth of unspoilt sandy beaches and, of course, great sporting facilities at venues such as the Pickaquoy Centre. However, we would like to hear about YOUR favourite places or activities in Orkney — whatever the weather — to keep the kiddies from getting bored.

Whether its searching for trolls in Binscarth Woods, picnicking on top of Wideford Hill, beachcombing in Papa Westray or bouldering at Picky, tell us about it.
