Inspired by bands and DJs such as S Express, D’mob, Tetnotronic, Judge Jules, Sigala and Daft Punk, the dance music duo will be exciting the crowds with their own twist on the French electronic band.
 Shopping Week Saturday, Stromness
The 69th Stromness Shopping week has seen weather both bonny and miserable, but the fun has kept on coming nonetheless.
The week-long series of events will be rounded off this Saturday evening, with the annual float parade through the streets of Stromness.
With bags full of creativity and plenty of imagination, teams of adults and children have worked hard to design and create their own themed floats and costumes. The parade begins at just after 7pm, and will make its way down towards the Market Green.

This Sunday, July 23, The John Rae Society will be throwing open the doors of the Hall of Clestrain, Orphir, for a series of Open Day events.
From 12-4.30pm, the general public are welcome to come along and find our more about the famous Orkney explorer, John Rae, who once lived there.
