Young badminton players set for inter-county double-header

Orkney’s youngsters are preparing for a feast of badminton this weekend as two of the county’s youth sides are due to take on fierce rivals Shetland in an inter-county double-header.
The county’s under-18 side are first to take to the court on Saturday with play scheduled to start at 1pm at the KGS. The side will be hoping to gain revenge for last year’s narrow 11-13 defeat in Shetland.
On Sunday, it is the turn of the under-13 side who will be hoping to follow-up their impressive 19-17 victory last March with play scheduled to commence at 11.30am, also at the KGS.
Spectators are welcome.
