Adverse weather causes ferry disruptions

NorthLink Ferries and Pentland Ferries have confirmed disruptions to their sevices due to adverse weather and tidal conditions.

NorthLink has cancelled the mv Hamnavoe’s 4.45pm sailing from Stromness today, Monday, and the 7pm return from Scrabster.

The next scheduled sailing will be tomorrow, Tuesday, departing from Stromness at 6.30am.

The arrival of mv Hjaltland into Hatston this evening may also be delayed, which would mean a later arrival in Aberdeen tomorrow morning.

Pentland Ferries has cancelled its 4.50pm sailing from St Margaret’s Hope and the 6.30pm sailing from Gills bay.
