Around Orkney in ten days

A classroom support assistant from Kirkwall Grammar School is attempting to walk around the coast of Orkney in ten days, to raise money for the John Magowan fund, in support of CRY — Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Tomas Fedor began the challenge on Friday, July 1, at Warebeth Beach, and hopes to make it back to the start point this Sunday, July 10.

The 221km distance will be covered on foot, and Tomas will stop only to camp down for the night, and occasionally to refill his water bottle.
