Artist to lead walk and talk

Artist Charles Shearer, who’s exhibition, Charles Shearer Drawings — Prints — Paintings  is currently on show at the Pier Arts Centre, will lead an informal walk and talk, at the gallery, tonight at 7.30pm.

His exhibition includes a large body of recent works as well as sketch books, printing plates, illustrations, books and objects.

Mr Shearer said: “I am pleased to be able to talk about my work in the exhibition. I will be discussing aspects of drawing and the development of ideas — how I document material and take it forward to the printing process through looking at sketchbooks, drawings and prints, as well as talking about the processes involved in printing.”
