Barriers are now open

The barriers have now opened, after they were closed at 11.10am this morning.

Carness road, at Weyland bay, remains closed by the police due to the high tide and adverse weather conditions.

The police hope this will be a temporary measure until the tide falls, but advise drivers to take note until further information is given.
