Business for Scotland director to give Kirkwall talk

Ivan McKee, of Business for Scotland, will be giving a public talk on what he feels are the merits of independence for Scotland in Kirkwall tomorrow evening, Monday.

Mr McKee has worked in manufacturing for 30 years and currently has interests in manufacturing businesses in Scotland, England and Eastern Europe and runs his own manufacturing turnaround and consultancy company. His work has taken him across the globe, including periods working in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Mr McKee believes the UK policy is focused far too heavily on the City of London and often ignores the prospects for manufacturing businesses as a consequence.

The talk, in the Ayre Hotel function room, begins at 7.30pm.
