CAP reforms to be set out

The key decisions on implementing the new Common Agricultural Policy in Scotland are to be set out in Scottish Parliament this afternoon by rural affairs secretary, Richard Lochhead.

Mr Lochhead is scheduled to set out details of the new direct farm payments system (Pillar 1) and rural development programme (Pillar 2) in a statement to parliament at 2:40pm.
