Cheviot gimmer is champion of the East

A cheviot shown by James S. Baillie & Co. was named the top sheep at this year’s East Mainland Show.

The home-bred gimmer was sired by Smiddyquoy Prince and had not been shown before.

The reserve title went to David Summers, of Easthouse, Toab, with his suffolk gimmer by Lakeview Lachlan, and out of a home-bred ewe.
