Coaching Awards winners announced

The winners of the 2014 Orkney Coaching, Officiating and Volunteering Awards have been announced.

The awards recognise the dedication, hard work and achievements of  coaches, volunteers and officials who work with local sports clubs.

The recipients will now be presented with trophies and money to assist their respective clubs.

The winners are:-

• Young Coach of the Year – Jack Reid
• Young Person’s Coach of the Year – Douglas Slater
• Development Coach of the Year – Alison Davis
• Performance Coach of the Year – Ryan Reffell
• Official of the Year – Fraser Murray
• Young Volunteer of the Year – Leyla Gunn
• Volunteer of the Year – Neil Foubister
