Council advises driver caution after downpour

With the incredibly wet weather seen last night and this morning, Orkney Islands Council is advising drivers to be careful on the roads today.

According to the council, no roads have been closed but there is lots of water lying in areas around the county.

Teams from the council’s roads department are out, keeping an eye on the situation.
