Council appeal over Deerness flytipping incident
Orkney Islands Council is appealing for information after roofing sheets and concrete were dumped on a scenic stretch of shoreline in Deerness.
The fly tipping occurred near the car park at the end of the Aikerskaill Road.
The OIC’s environmental health manager, David Brown, said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this, or any other incidents of fly tipping, to get in touch with us and provide as much detail as possible to help us find whoever is responsible.
“If possible, it would be useful to know the date, time and location of a fly tipping incident, as well as information about any vehicle used.”
