Council gives go ahead for new children’s house

Work on a new “children’s House” at Watersfield, in Kirkwall, will begin later this year following approval at Wednesday’s meeting of the OIC planning committee.

The new house will replace the former Camoran facility.

The facility will provide accommodation for four children with 24-hour supervision by staff.
