Cyclist knocked from bike after collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was knocked off a bicycle following a collision on Bignold Park Road, Kirkwall, last Wednesday.

The incident, involving a black car, took place around 4pm.

Meanwhile, around  23.45pm on Sunday, April 20, a man was assaulted in Kirkwall’s Bothy Bar.

Anyone with information on either of the above incidents is asked to contact police via 101.
