Documentary pays tribute to Orkney’s wartime history

Orkney’s wartime heritage is due to feature in a new documentary which is set to be aired BBC Two in Scotland, starting tonight.

Presented and narrated by actor David Hayman, Scotland’s War at Sea examines the country’s pivotal part in the naval campaigns of both World Wars, including the massing of the British Grand Fleet in Scapa Flow.

Scotland’s War at Sea begins on BBC Two Scotland at 9pm tonight, Tuesday, and is due to continue next Tuesday.
