Dog biting incident prompts police appeal

A woman was bitten by a small grey-coloured dog along Kirklands Road in Kirkwall, police say. The incident occurred around 8pm on Wednesday, June 1, and the woman sustained injuries to her hand as a result. 

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, particularly a woman who got out of her vehicle and went and asked the woman if she was alright.
