Dounby Show Park closed by police

Dounby Show Park remains closed, this morning, as part of ongoing enquiries by police.

A spokesman at Kirkwall Police Station said that there is no further information available at this time, but emphasised that police will be working as swiftly and efficiently as possible.

Police are aware that some folk still have stalls and other attractions that they wish to remove from the park in time for tomorrow’s County Show. The spokesman confirmed that police will be working to facilitate this as soon as possible.
