Drivers taken to hospital after Sandwick accident

Police inquiries are continuing following a two-vehicle accident at the Sandwick crossroads, near the community hall, at about 7.45pm yesterday evening.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to Balfour Hospital for treatment to what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was also closed for a short time, but has since been reopened.

Police have asked for any witnesses to the accident to contact them on 101.
