Extra cruise ship to make port call in Kirkwall

The cruise ship, The Columbus, is to make an additional port call in Kirkwall this Sunday.

The ship will tie up at Hatston as a weather diversion, travelling from Reykjavik, Iceland.

The vessel, with approximately 1800 passengers on board, is scheduled to call in at Hatston at 8am and depart at 6pm.

This will be the first time that The Columbus has called at Kirkwall and the ship has primarily British passengers.
