Ferry service to be cancelled

Pentland Ferries say that due to unforeseen circumstances the ferry Pentalina will be going into dry-dock on Friday, therefore there will be no sailings between Gills Bay and St Margaret’s Hope from Friday to Sunday.

Sailings will recommence on Monday morning.

The company said that any passengers booked on these crossings have been informed where possible.

A statement added: “We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience to passengers wishing to travel. Any enquiries can be emailed to sales@pentlandferries.co.uk or phoned through to 01856 831 226.”
