Ferry timetable is published online

An amended timetable for ferry services to the outer North Isles has been produced and is now available on the Orkney Ferries website.

A two-vessel operation remains in place while union members are balloted on the latest pay offer from the board of Orkney Ferries.

Councillor Graham Sinclair, chairman of Orkney Ferries, said: “The publication of our amended timetable offers some consistency and certainty to our island communities, who have been through a difficult time during this period of industrial action.

“A number of requests have been made by the communities in respect of the amended timetable and these have been taken into account where possible.”
