Festive flights can be changed to avoid potential disruption
In the run up to Christmas to help to avoid any possible travel disruption due to the strong winds which are forecast, Loganair are giving passengers the opportunity to change their flight bookings to an earlier flight, free of charge.
An airline spokesman said: “The team at Loganair understands that journeys around Christmas assume an especial importance for you and every single one of our customers. We therefore keep a watchful eye on anything that could cause disruption to your journey and the specialised Met Office aviation weather forecasts for Friday 23 and Saturday 24 December are suggesting that some particularly strong winds could prevail throughout Scotland. If the forecasts materialise, it may cause disruption to our flights.
“Although there’s plenty of time between now and then for the weather forecasts to change or for the weather fronts bringing these strong winds to miss Scotland completely, we want to offer you as much peace of mind as we can for your important Christmas journey.”
If you’d like to change a Flybe flight with Loganair on December 23 or 24Â for which you already hold a reservation to travel on the same route on an earlier flight, please check seat availability on your desired alternative at www.flybe.com
