First ladies’ darts qualifier

The first of three ladies’ darts qualifier is due to be held in Kirkwall tomorrow afternoon.

The winner of the event, due to start in the Kirkwall Legion at 3pm, will take on visiting professional darts player Trina Gulliver at a fun contest in May, with the runner-up playing fellow pros Zoe Jones and Sue Gulliver.

Two other qualifiers are due to be played next month, from which three other local darts players — two women and one man —  will qualify for the event in May, along with runner-up players.
