Glensanda stone order reaches halfway point
Around half of an 80,000-tonne order of stone from Glensanda Quarry near Oban has been shipped to Orkney, the islands council has confirmed.
Norwegian coaster Feed Helgeland was in Orkney this week with another 4,000-tonne shipment of aggregate destined for the council-owned Cursiter Quarry.
