Green light for Stromness Tall Ships market

Stromness Community Council has been granted a temporary market operators licence for the weekend of Tall Ship events.

Granted at the meeting of Orkney Islands Council’s licensing sub-committee on Friday, the market, at the pierhead, will operate from 2pm to 11pm on July 16, and noon until 11pm the following day.

The outdoor market will consist of up to 30 stalls selling food, crafts, raffles and baking.
