The Orkney Library and Archive in Kirkwall.Orkney Islands Council have been in touch to say that due to a problem with the heating system, Orkney Library and Archive in Kirkwall is closing at 2pm today, Wednesday.
It is hoped that the library will re-open as usual at 9.15am tomorrow, Thursday.
