Four new honorary sheriffs were sworn in by the sheriff principal of Grampian, Highlands and Islands, Derek Pyle, at a ceremony held in Kirkwall Sheriff Court on Thursday afternoon.

They are, pictured from the left, NHS Orkney board member Jeremy RIchardson, former OIC assistant chief executive Elaine Grieve, Orkney Museum curator Janette Park, and solicitor Duncan Hill, chairman of Lows, Orkney.
