Investigations under way after flytipper targets Orphir beauty spot

Orkney Islands Council’s environmental health team is currently investigating allegations of flytipping at Waulkmill Bay, Orphir, believed to have occurred some time between the afternoon of Friday, June 10, and the morning of Sunday, June 12.

A council spokeswoman stressed that the authority takes all complaints about flytipping very seriously, adding that any member of the public with information about the incident can contact the environmental health team on 873535.
