Inter-county football cancelled after Caithness no-show
Today’s inter-county football matches were cancelled again, after Caithness failed to travel to Orkney for the second time in a month.
The Corinthian Cup and Archer Shield clashes were due to kick-off at Pickaquoy, at 11am and 2pm, respectively.
Instead, a friendly match between Orkney’s junior and senior teams was played at Pickaquoy.
The annual inter-county matches had been rescheduled to take place today, after the Caithness squads failed to honour the fixtures at the end of last month.
