Join our friendly, independent mixed veterinary practice in the heart of Orkney.

As our practice continues to grow and we prepare to move into an exciting new purpose-built facility, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced manager to help lead our client care team and shape the future of Flett & Carmichael Vets.

Working alongside the directors and head nurse, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the office,  managing HR and administration, coordinating rotas, responsible for stock control and supplier relationships, and ensuring we continue to deliver the outstanding service our clients value.

You’ll be an experienced people manager with excellent organisational and communication skills, confident using IT and office software, passionate about building a positive, supportive workplace, and with some knowledge and interest in animals. Experience in a veterinary, healthcare or animal-related business would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.

Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
Competitive salary, depending on experience
