Trustee (Voluntary)

What it involves:

The Pickaquoy Centre Trust is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Trustees by appointing an individual with suitable skills and experience to join the Board in the strategic management of the Trust.

Interested applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the Trust’s aims of developing and promoting participation in a wide range of sports, arts, leisure and conference facilities in order to improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life of those living in Orkney.

The right person:

Applicants must be resident in Orkney and appear on the current electoral register.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in or experience of sports, arts and/or leisure provision, and be familiar with centre activities through regular use of the facility.

Any experience of service planning, business, finance, law or human resources would also be beneficial.
